Grandfather's Inspiration

My grandfather, Jerome Edelberg studied journalism at George Washington, Cornell and Columbia Universities, earning multiple degrees. Following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, he was inspired to enlist in the US Armed Forces News Corps and was stationed in Guam. One of his proudest moments was to cover General MacArthur's arrival in Japan for their official surrender that ended the war in the Pacific. He spent the rest of his professional life reporting for the New York Daily Mirror. The desire to celebrate my grandfather's life work became the inspiration for creating a product line of decorative home accents showcasing his news clippings on fabric.
